Surakshit Bachpan Divas - Safe Childhood Day
To commemorate Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi’s birthday on January 11 as Surakshit Bachpan Diwas, Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation organized a National Level Talent Competition in which young people were urged to showcase their talent and share their Music Performance video clip or design a Poster revolving around the theme of Safe Childhood and Free Chilhood.
Poster/Drawing Making
Who can participate?
Children between the age group of 10-18 years can participate from all over India.
Instructions to remember:
- Each participant can submit only 1 poster.
- Valid identity proof of school/college must be attached to your entry.
- Acceptable tools for drawing/painting include pencil, crayon, watercolour, oil paint, etc. Photographs, wires, other 3D objects, print-outs won’t be acceptable. It should be original and handmade.
- One can use any size of the paper, but preferably an A4 size drawing sheet to be used for the competition.
- Drawing should not contain any material that is offensive or disgraceful towards any person, profession or community.
- The submission file must be in good resolution but may not exceed 2 MB.
- The children can use Pencil, Pencil Colour, Crayons, Water Colour etc. The children may consider the following points while painting.
- The entry can be a poster or a painting.
- Use of Collage/Patchwork is not permitted.
- The submitted art which does not follow these rules will be subjected to disqualification.
- The decision of the judges will be final and cannot be challenged.

Submission can be done in both ways: Online and Offline
For online submission:
The drawing and poster’s photo in JPG format should be uploaded on
before 10 January 2022 by 4 pm
For offline submission:
- Drawings with the valid age proof to be sent only at the address of Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation – HEAD OFFICE: L-64, Kalkaji, New Delhi 110019, EMAIL US- info@satyarthi.org, PHONE NUMBER-011– 49211111.
- The last date to send the submission is 10 January 2022 by 4 pm.
- The back sheet of the drawing should carry the following information: –

Music Performance
The participants can enter either a singing entry or an instrumental entry or a combination of both.
Who can participate?
Youth between the age group of 15-30 years can participate from all over India.
Instructions to remember:
- Each participant can submit only 1 entry.
- Valid identity proof of school/college must be attached to your entry.
- The entry should be a maximum of 1 minute long.
- In the first few seconds, the participants must briefly introduce themselves by mentioning their name, State/Place of residence and say “they are dedicating their performance to children on the occasion of Surakshit Bachpan Divas”
- No obscene language or gestures or offensive content should be used in the entry.
- The selection of song or music for the performance must be child-friendly.
- The performance must be in a public place (a park, street or your community etc.), adhering to Covid-19 guidelines.
- The submission file must be in good resolution but may not exceed 100 MB.
- The submitted entry that is not in accordance with any of the above instructions will be subjected to disqualification.
- The decision of the judges will be final and cannot be challenged.
- The selected entries will be used across Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation and other associated social media channels.
- Post the entry submission, all rights of usage are reserved with Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation.

The decision of the Jury/Expert committee at all groups of the drawing competition will be final and announced on the 11th January 2022 during the virtual event.
