Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation launched a talent development programme ‘Meri Awaaz Suno’ in 4 slum communities in Delhi in collaboration with boAt, India’s leading audio and wearables brand.

The ‘Meri Awaaz Suno’ or Hear Me Roar programme will enable the children of these slums to develop and showcase their talent in the fields of music, dance, theater, and cricket.

The programme is being conducted in Sanjay Camp (Chanakyapuri), Indra Kalyan Vihar (Okhla), Israel and Inder Camp (Rangpuri Pahadi, Vasant Kunj).

Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation has been working in these slums since the last 4 years under the Bal Mitra Mandal (BMM) programme to ensure that all children are enrolled and retained in school. In these 4 years, KSCF has also ensusred that the children are free from any form of abuse such as child labour, child marriage, and child trafficking.

Children will take part in a talent competition after receiving several months of training. All competitions will have empowering themes. The winners will receive scholarships to help them enhance their talent further.

Training under the programme will begin in the month of April and the final talent competition and cricket tournament will be held in December 2022.
