Peace Laureate and pledges support for childrenOn 5th August 2019, Nobel Peace Laureate Mr. Kailash Satyarthi made a strong appeal to over 7000 students of SRM Institute of Science & Technology in Chennai to stand up for children and youth whose rights have been violated. SRM University pledged to take forward the goal of 100 Million for 100 Million Campaign. The management of the University also announced setting up of a Center on Child Rights to promote curriculum, research, training and capacity building of stakeholders about upholding the rights of children.
