Adobe India Joins Hands With KSCF For ‘Project Smile’

Kailash Satyarthi Children's Foundation
New Delhi: Celebrating the power of volunteerism and hailing changemakers who do their bit for children, Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi delivered the keynote address at the launch of the 12th edition of ‘Project Smile’ spearheaded by Adobe India.
“There is a volunteer inside everyone of you. There’s a champion, leader, and changemaker inside all of you,” Satyarthi said while motivating attendees of the event to come forward and work towards the welfare of children.
He also enlightened everyone with his ‘3Ds formula’ for a good and fulfilling life. “I will share a simple 3Ds formula with you. The first D is Dream. If you are allowed to dream, then dream big. Those who dream only for themselves do not bring about a positive change. So, it is better to dream for others as well. The second D is Discover. All of us have tremendous power. When you feel alone, guilty, hopeless, or frustrated, then find your best friend – self-confidence – and keep it alive. The third D is Do. Act now. Small or big, successful or not, doesn’t matter, just do your bit.”
Under Project Smile, Adobe employees get an opportunity to interact with children virtually on various topics including public speaking, fitness sessions, virtual tour of 7 wonders of the world.
“Project Smile is focused on the development of underprivileged children and has been going on for over 10 years. It is led by the volunteers of Adobe India. Our employees will be mentoring kids from 9th to 12th grade under this project,” Shanmugh Natarajan, Vice President (Products), Adobe India said.
The intent of the programme is to bring smiles to underprivileged children by engaging them in their areas of interest.
