On 17 September 2021, 40 children participated in a programme on Rajghat to demand for social protection for all vulnerable children across the world as part of the Fair Share to End Child Labour global campaign. This campaign is an initiative of Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi demanding for an end to injustice by ensuring every child has their fair share of resources, policies and protection.During the programme children were apprised of their rights and the duty of the government towards the children. Children carried this message through slogans, placards and by holding an umbrella as a symbol of social protection. Participating children belonged to Indira Kalyan Vihar, Israel Camp, Inder Camp and Sanjay Camp slums of Delhi where Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation is running its Bal Mitra Mandal initiative.
