On World Radio Day that is celebrated on 13 February every year, 10 child leaders from Ganj Basoda Bal Mitra Gram visited Vidisha Radio Mann Station and had a meaningful interaction with the Radio Jockey.

The radio programme organized with the children aimed at giving a platform to voice their concerns, share their stories and experiences and encourage thousands of other listeners to say no to child marriage, child labour and other forms of child exploitation.

The children of the Bal Mitra Gram enjoyed the whole experience and learnt about how a radio programme functions. After the programme, children visited the museum in Sanchi to kindle a sense of pride and belongingness of our culture and heritage among the children.
