Kailash Satyarthi Children's Foundation

On 1st and 3 November 2021,  50 children (aged 6-16 years) representing the Bal Mitra Mandal (Children’s Councils) formed in the two Delhi Slums, Nala Par and Israel Camp, participated in the Diwali celebrations organised in their communities. Children carried out an awareness raising rally throughout the slums asking the residents to have a cracker and child labour free Diwali. Children made posters and slogans with the said message and roamed around the communities. Children also lightened diya and candles and celebrated the festival together as a family.
