Department of Women and Child Development, Delhi, in collaboration with Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation (KSCF) organized a training and sensitization program for children living in Child Care Institutes (CCIs) in Delhi from June 7-15, 2021. The programme was attended by children in the 13-18 year age group and some young adults abobe 18 years of age from across 90 CCIs on COVID-19 and Mental Health. The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Aleena Ali from Fortis Hospital and KSCF personnel.

The training programme covered topics related to trauma counselling, hygiene training, sanitisation, destigmatising COVID-19 and allied issues and addressed concerns of children on feelings of anxiety, fear, anger, depression etc.  The workshop proved to be engaging and helpful for the participants who participated in the proceedings with heightened interest and vigour.
